Merge alex-work into main

All of the work should be contained in "original_undbot_and_modified/". In case of any conflicts with other directories (outside of "original_undbot_and_modified/"), use the latest versions in other branches, not this one. I think it might make more sense to have a separate README.md inside "original_undbot_and_modified/", so that is why I put it in there, but feel free to disagree and add contents to main README.md. Pls lmk any questions!
