Error when importing metadata

When trying to import metadata, I consistently receive an error; the process doesn't even start.

I get a message on the web browse "An error occurred while creating this process".

This worked the previous week, so I'm not sure what has changed between now and then. It seems to be related to filesystem errors when saving the file, but I can't see anything that's changed in that regards.

@dsindt On DSpace 7 vtechworks dev, when uploading a file for metadata import, the file gets saved to the assetstore directory, /dspace/assetstore, which is a symbolic link to the exported assetstore mounted via NFS. This worked until recently, but for some reason (based on DSpace log files) it seems Apache Tomcat is having problems saving files to that directory, or maybe just can't immediately find the files that it saves. Tomcat is running as the tomcat user, an I can touch and files in that mounted directory from the shell when I'm "tomcat". Also, the file /lib/systemd/system/tomcat9.service has ReadWritePaths=/dspace/ inserted in it, and has no problem writing log files to /dspace/log/*. I'm not sure what happened to make this stop working.

I've worked around the issue for now by creating a local /dspace/assetstore2 directory for incoming files, but I wanted to let you know in case production version of DSpace 7 VTechWorks will be setup similarly. I'm confused, because it was working until very recently.

This issue was also causing problems with upload of files to new items, but I haven't opened an issue for that yet.

Changed priority to "To Do". I think it would be good to figure this out before production, but we have a workaround that at least works for dev.
