Request-a-copy-form edits
There are two edits needed for the request-a-copy form:
- Message box: Please make this a required field if possible. Currently it's optional (see attached screenshot). Authors tend to be more responsive when patrons explain why they want the item.
- Name field: Is it possible to control responses for this? Sometimes, patrons provide a first initial or something that looks like a Twitter/X/IM username. It's kind of awkward and not that helpful to tell an author that, say, VampireSquid22 wants their dissertation. Could we split this into first/last name fields, impose a minimum character requirement, or disallow numbers? Thanks for considering it.
