@cecross1, I was able to reproduce this issue.
You're in the right place. Unfortunately the page isn't automatically updating with the download link. Here's how to find it:
From the management sidebar, choose processes. You can go back into a completed process from that page. As you can see in the screenshot above, your process was number 2. Once you've gone back into the process, you'll be on essentially the same page that you've put in your screenshot above, except it will also have an "Output Files" section that includes a link to your CSV.
If the Output Files section still doesn't show, do a "force reload" (not just a regular reload) on your browser. In Safari, this is accomplished with Command-Option-R; if you're using a difference browser, search for how to do a force reload with that browser.
You might be able to see the Output Files list by doing a force reload from the initial page, once the process has completed, without going back in through the management sidebar/processes menu.
So, there's a workaround to get your file, but it's still a bug where the CSV download links aren't showing up until you go back into the page and/or do a force reload.

I'll also try doing an export on DSpace 7 Demo server to see if they have a similar issue. I already tried this, but they are currently having other issues with their server where I couldn't do the export.
If they have a similar issue it's probably a DSpace bug and I can report it as such; if not it may be something with our configuration or setup.

@vtkeithg Thanks for looking into this. I was able to download the csv from the process menu. Then I tried exporting metadata from two other collections (Cultural Community Centers and one of the Honors College collections) in Chrome. I tested the following shortcuts to see if they'd force reload:
- control + shift + R
- control + F5
- command + F5
None of them seemed to work. But I was still able to find the csv's in the process menu.

I just tried metadata export from a collection and got a success popup, but the status was failed. When I click the process output button, it says there was no output.

I just exported metadata from the MDPI collection and got my results immediately. I'm unsure what's changed here. Unsure what's changed to make this work immediately.
Edit: I got the results and the CSV link as soon as it finished.
Philip, I see your errors, but I can't reproduce this problem. Was it a specific collection? Is it still happening?

Hmm, just exported MDPI successfully, so I'll have to try another collection. I notice it exports dc.description.provenance as well which I would like to omit from the metadata export.

I opened issue #63 for the issue with exporting dc.description.provenance.
I will close this main issue. We can reopen it if there are more problems.
